A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Your first step is to get into an airplane and experience piloting for yourself, along with an FAA Certified Flight Instructor and Iowa Flight Training Specialist. Our introductory flight is more than “just a plane ride, it is your first step to becoming a pilot. You will spend about 30 minutes on the ground learning about the airplane’s controls and instruments, then at least 30 minutes in the air with one of our expert FAA Certified Flight Instructors. You will learn to fly straight and level, turn, climb and descend. Your instructor will also help you through landing! Afterwards, you will spend about 15 minutes reviewing the flight and talk about next steps if you wish to continue.
